Family Law in Partnership lawyers shortlisted in prestigious Family Law Awards 2018

We are delighted to announce that three lawyers from Family Law in Partnership have been shortlisted for awards in the prestigious LexisNexis Family Law Awards 2018. The Family Law Awards were launched to recognise the important work of family lawyers, and celebrate their many successes and outstanding achievements.

FLiP founder and director Gillian Bishop has been shortlisted for the award Family Law Partner of the Year. This award recognises the individual who the judges believe has made a major contribution to the field of family law through their practice, and shown that they have executed a strategic vision through outstanding leadership.

Meanwhile FLiP associates Kara Swift and Nicole Phillips have both been shortlisted for the award Family Law Young Solicitor of the Year. This award recognises a solicitor with under 5 years post qualification experience who the judges believe has stood out from their peers by demonstrating that they have the skills and knowledge to become a leading family lawyer of the future.

The shortlisted candidates have all been chosen by a judging panel made up of the heads of the Family Law Bar Association, Resolution and the Association of Lawyers for Children, along with Family Law editors and publishing executives.

The winners will be announced at an awards dinner to be held in London on Wednesday 28th November 2018.

Family Law in Partnership itself has been shortlisted in the Excellence in Learning & Development category of The Law Society Excellence Awards 2018. This award recognises the importance of investment in learning and development within law firms through improved service, staff development, increased efficiency or profitability, or higher rates of retention. The winner will be announced at a black tie dinner to be held in London on Wednesday 17th October 2018. For further information, click here.
